Patch Notes from August 9th 2022 to February 14th 2023
u Elemental Runes, that is Heavy Magic Missile, Incinerate, Icicle, and Thorn have had their weight reduced.
u A bug has been fixed so now when using a rune on yourself it will cancel your idleness timer.
u A bug has been fixed so now a player will be able to be hit with an Ancient Sudden Death Rune when he is standing on top of a pot.
u Great Fireball Rune, Ancient Great Fireball Rune, and Fireball Rune have all had their damage increased for PvE.
u Great Fireball Rune and Fireball Rune have all had their mana cost increased.
u The spell Ultimate Explosion has been returned to pre July-28th Patch status for PvE.
u The spell Ultimate Explosion has been returned to pre July-28th Patch status for PvP with reduced damage.
u The majority of all monsters have had their fire resistance lowered and/or their fire immunity removed.
u Damage of Elemental (missile) Runes and Knives substantially increased
u Mana Cost of Elemental (missile) Runes and Knives substantially increased
u Ancient Rune damage and loot rates adjusted accordingly for the above runes
u Fire Resistance changed, mostly increased, across many creatures
u Light Magic Missile Rune mana cost decreased substantially
Frosted Throwing Knife is currently bugged and not doing any damage. Next Server Save they will work correctly.
A bug has been found with the damage of Knights with Throwing Knives. It will be fixed next Server Save.
u The ground tile, 'Dirt', in game is no longer 'writeable'.
u Tier 4 Raids activated.
u Warlocks are changed.
u Demon loot is changed.
u Demon Hell changed.
u Demons death resistance reduced.
u Warlocks death resistance reduced.
u Behemoths death resistance reduced.
- Chameleon rune can no longer be used on donation house decorations (floor tiles etc.)
- Rent due date no longer resets when using !sellhouse to transfer ownership to another player - a warning is now displayed to the buyer about the due date before purchase
- A new system "House Tax" has been introduced, and will be detailed further in an announcement later today
u Crawling Hand resistances had a bug. This has been fixed.
u Various bugs fixed with Dreadseers.
There has been a bug found with The Ward of Eyes, a summon of the Dreadseer. It will be fixed next Server Save.
u New game-room added to Dura.
u This patch requires an auto-update of the game-client as it introduces new sprites.
u An Experience Quest located in Carlin has been fixed. It will no longer decay nor able to be dragged/moved.
u Demon loot has been changed, value remains exact same; but there was a bug with green gems.
u Bug with football pitch's ladder fixed.
u All elemental runes and knives are now inter-exchangeable. Example: Heated Throwing Knife can be exchangeable with Icicle Rune.
u Bug with Bears. Will be fixed next Server Save.
u Wild Warriors have been added to the underground of the Carlin Sewers until another solution can be reached.
u Giant Spider Raids should now work for the event, Incursion into Dura.
u Ankrahmun’s City introduces a new system: ‘Limited Depots’. You cannot have more than 600 items in the Ankrahmun Depot at a time; you can also not fill a depot over 600 items at a time via mail. If you attempt to the parcel with its contents will be on top of the mailbox.
u ’Hi’ “NAME” has been introduced as an alternative to ‘Hi’ for talking to NPCs. This is because sometimes NPCs will be in close proximity.
u The System ‘Leases’ for renting houses introduced.
u The System ‘Dynamic World’ has been introduced.
u The Time System has been overhauled to reflect a full realistic calendar; years, seasons, months, weeks, days, time.
u Residency for Home-Town bugs has been fixed.
u NPC Shakir has been fixed.
u Wild Warriors not being in the Carlin sewers has been fixed.
u Rashid has been given his proper outfit.
u NPC Narwa has had lore added.
u Djinn Fortresses of Mal'ouquah and Ashta'daramai have had monsters spawn with correct duration.
u Dromedary has been fixed.
u Arito will now respond to lower and upper case letters. Lease has been added to his lore.
u The leasable houses 'Crumbling Temple', 'Ruinous Pyramid', and 'Old Granary 1' have been fixed.
u Various items have their proper name now.
u Various map bugs have been fixed, substantive and cosmetic.
u NPC Csaba fixed.
u Djinn Quests where you need to do the final part of the quest with Fah'radin's lamp is fixed.
u NPC Diqrah Cain typos fixed.
u Add lore line to Malor/Gabel upon finishing the Djinn Quest for the Efreet and Marid faction respectively.
u Stonecutter Axe Max-Hitpoints stat not applying fixed.

u Bug with Leased Houses that caused your house to remove your ownership early. Refunds given to those it affected.
u Monster be teleported on top of hole fixed. Cannot happen now.
u Exploration Quest typo.
u Corrected spawn duration of many monsters due to bug.
u NPC Ihab typo fixed.
u Various written 'readables' typo fixed; more to do though.
u Minimap should not have correct color for empty space.
u Tier 3, 4, 5, 6 Raids activated.
u Various items have their proper name now.
u Various map bugs have been fixed, substantive and cosmetic.
u Arrows, normal arrows, are currently bugged. They will do a great deal less damage than they are supposed to. Bolts, Crystal Arrow, Spears, Power Bolts remain unaffected. This is already fixed for the next Server Save.
u Parcels are currently not being received in the Ankrahmun Depot. It is now fixed for next Server Save. All parcels that have already been sent or will be sent to an Ankrahmun Depot will appear with all contents inside next Server Save.
u NPC Chrystal fixed. (Nothing added since before Major Update.)
u Malor's Lamp part of Djinn Quest fixed.
u Change Kha'Zeel High-Djinn raid to make it so is less unfairly dangerous.
u Sekehet NPC dialogue more clear.
u Tommaso NPC dialogue wrong response removed.

u There was a book in Diqrah Cain's personal library that was not showing correctly, it now will be. You will know when you see it. It was blank before.
u The book 'The Lamp of Tazur' ended pre-maturely and has been completed.
u An item that was recently bugged-in-its-selling should now be sellable at it's correct NPC in the outpost of Reclaimed Ankrahmun. (Yes the note is purposefully vague, as we're not going to reveal it in case you didn't already find it.) If anyone wants they can send me a DM and ask if it's "this" and I can tell you.
u Due to a short-sighting in game-design we're going to do the following next Server Save: The new Bow of the Kha'labal will go from +8 attack to +3 attack; the Double Headed Arrow will get a +5 attack. However it will not be worth it to use the Double Headed Arrow without the Bow of the Kha'labal, you will have to figure out why on your own.
u Crystal Arrow receives +5 attack this Server Save. (This buff on Crystal Arrow comes after a very big nerf on it with the release of the Major Update itself. The complete patch notes will cover more.)
u Missile sprite for Double Headed Arrow changed
u Bow of the Kha'labal reduced from +8 to +3 attack
u Double Headed Arrow attack raised from 25 to 30. (next patch you will see all stats of paladin weaponry and ammunition)
u Taiseer/Saabir Quest Line is bugged.
u Flower of the Desert expiration bug causing all other rings not to work until logging out is fixed.
u Dog Race at Hard Rock Tavern in Venore fixed
u Butterflies now working properly at all their spawns. (no one has found any yet anyway)
u Trade text for Alesar, Haroun, Nah'bob, Rashid, Yaman all corrected.
u Monsters added to the area of Old Ankrahmun.
u Bertrand NPC dialogue typo.
u Behemoths now push other creatures.
u Monsters when charging/rushing toward a player will not run through them or stand on them.
u Players when transported by monsters are now not able be spam-transported. There is now a 7-second immunity once a player has been transported by monster.
u Sa'luk typo.
u Dead fowl no longer a container.
u Sandstone panels can now be read from a distance and are not writeable.
u Webshop Sarcophagus not available until tomorrow.
u All paladin weaponry and projectiles should now display the value of their attack and accuracy.
u Crack in Walls should now work properly.
u Djinn Trade NPCs should work properly for trading and should only be tradeable when one completes the Djinn Quest.
u Note: Every mystery in Dura except Taiseer/Saabir quest line works, no loose end or time wasted, it has been like this for many days.
u Bug that allowed players to take infinite Quest-Reward at the sarcophagus of Hudjefa II has been fixed.
u Webshop Sarcophagus is available as it will now work properly.
u Various items have their proper name now.
u Various map bugs have been fixed.
u Horseman Helmet now applies stats.
u Necromancer Loot had a typo, it has been fixed and therefore it's loot nerfed.
u The remaining malfunction with spam transporting via monster onto player has been fixed.
u Edron Orcs stone-lever should no longer malfunction
u Now if it's only your first character of the given account the game will prompt you with a message you are 'ready for Main'
u Typos with various NPCs, cosmetic, nothing substantial

u Light and Dark cycle will now match Dura Time perfectly. (This has been the case since the start of the Sun and Moon event)
u Pair of Strapped Sandals (Quest) had a bug that is now fixed. In the Kha'labal there is no finer friend.
u Leather Apron can now be worn in the appropriate equipment slot.
u Alesar NPC was investigated, no bugs.
u Efreets and Marids now push monsters weaker than themselves.
u Arito NPC typo.
u Swap spell from a monster will no longer interact with Gamemaster Characters.
u Loose Sand Hole can now have players and items roped up through it.
u Player's creature summons will not affect Fireball and Great Fireball taper reduction.
u Saabir/Taiseer questline has been fixed.
u Blood Herbs that were acquirable in a tomb has been fixed; blood herbs taken by players recovered by Gamemasters.
u A tomb where previously a player was incapable of taking items out that he could not carry has been changed.
u Crystal Mace should now have it's correct attack stated in a previous patch note.
u Pair of Strapped Sandals (Quest) is still not working.
u Pair of Strapped Sandals (Quest) should now work properly as stated in previous patch notes.
u Candelabrum bug has been fixed, one should not have an infinite candelabrum now.
u Ambush in Demona fixed.
u House lose via Premium Expiration, insufficient gold, or being deleted now should work properly.
u Bright Sword Quest should now be fixed; the bug being the power ring never being removed.
